The Textile Industry of Uzbekistan continues to demonstrate high growth rates over last four years.
Following major changes have taken place to boost the textile Industry:
Creation of cotton and textile clusters for Uzbekistan. This enhance the textile value chain from raw materials to finished products
Reducing cotton exports to zero with its further complete processing within the republic
Acquiring advanced technology and experience in the production of textile and clothing products.
Improving the cotton yield by scientific methods and corporate farming.
CAITME was designed to demonstrate these ambitious goals. More than 100 companies from 12 countries: Austria,Germany, India, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Turkey, USA, Uzbekistan, and Switzerland participated in the show.
The exhibitors displayed a range of modern technologies in spinning, spinning accessories, knitting and drying machines, finishing, dyeing, laboratory equipment, boilers and burners, as well as control and measuring equipment, compressors, etc. After a gap of almost two years, CAITME 21 was one of the first physical exhibitions. The travel restrictions, limited flights, COVID19 protocols etc were major challenges. However, the well determined organizers of CAITME had taken a bold step and made it a big success.
The organisers, as a socially responsible company, had carefully prepared to ensure a safe environment for the health and safety of participants and visitors. The Textile Industrialists of the region and machinery manufacturers across the globe supported the event by active participation and made it a big success.
